Dr Kathleen Ooi, Rehabilitation Physician
Dr. Ooi is the medical specialist for Polio Services Victoria and another specialist clinic at St Vincent’s Hospital. She has qualifications in Rehabilitation Medicine and has worked for 15 years in the chronic neurological disability area. Kathleen enjoys riding her bike and making quilts.
 

Jane Henderson, Service Coordinator and Physiotherapist
Jane has held the full time position of PSV Service Coordinator and Physiotherapist since 2006. She has a clinical background as a physiotherapist at St Vincent's since 2001, which includes working as the Senior Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapist, specialising in Physiotherapy for the Emergency Department, and the Acting Physiotherapy Manager. Jane has a Diploma of Business Management and a Master of Public Health.

Darren Pereira, Orthotist/Prosthetist
Darren has been the orthotist for PSV since 1998. He is a specialist in complex lower limb orthotics and has a wealth of experience in the provision of Ground Reaction Ankle Foot Orthoses (GRAFO) and Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses (KAFO). Darren also has extensive experience in Stance Control KAFO’s and first introduced the orthosis to the Victorian polio community in 2005.
 

Margaret Petkoff, Occupational Therapist
Margaret works 2 days a week for a total of 12 hours with PSV. She has over 20 years experience as an Occupational Therapist and has a Graduate Diploma in Neurosciences. She has a broad range of skills: assisting clients with improving safety at home and access inside and outside of the home, providing assessments and prescriptions of wheelchairs and cushions, advising about motor vehicle modification, and assisting with work-related issues.
