Location
Polio Services Victoria is located
at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. The clinic appointments
are held in the Polio Services Clinic Room, in the Bolte
Wing on Nicholson Street, just North of Victoria Parade.
When you arrive for your clinic appointment, please report
to the information desk and they will let you know where you
need to go.

For those people who drive to their appointment, a
designated Polio Services Victoria parking space is
available at the rear entrance of the Bolte Wing, and
clients can also use the undercover therapy parking spaces
at the side of the Bolte Wing. For both these parking spaces
a temporary sticker will be required. This can be obtained
from the information desk marked on the map above.
Disabled parking spaces are also available in Princes Street, adjacent
to the Bolte Wing and Regent Street that runs parallel to
Nicholson Street, next to the In-patient Services Building.
There is also the undercover car park below the Inpatient
Services building accessed via Fitzroy Street.

For those people coming by public transport, there are trams
that stop on Nicholson St directly outside the entrance to the
Bolte Wing (numbers 88 and 96) or those that have stops on
Victoria Parade (numbers 23,24,34,42 and 109). There is
Parliament station 80m away (take the Lonsdale St exit) which
has a lift from the stations to street level.
For those people coming by taxi, there is a taxi drop off point
at the Nicholson St entrance to the Bolte Wing. If you haven’t
pre-ordered a taxi back home, there is a direct dial taxi
service at the Bolte Information Desk.
